Farmers’ Perceptions and Knowledge of Country Bean (Lablab purpureus L.) Insect Pests, and Diseases, and Their Management Practices, in Bangladesh

Country bean (Lablab purpureus L.), a popular vegetable in Bangladesh, is severely affected by insect pests and diseases. Farmers’ perceptions of pests, diseases, their management are critical constraints to the establishment an effective sustainable pest approach for this crop. A comprehensive survey was conducted with 300 country farmers from six districts Bangladesh assess farmers’ knowledge diseases bean, practices.
